In my opinion, this is worth saving so that I can reply with copy-paste. It's very simple. The team is poor and the project is commercial. That is, people here have invested in the team and want to make money from advertising and tickets. Dinamo Riga is the only team that brought profit to its owners. This is not the case in Russia. Some large corporation like Gazprom just gives a lot of money to the team, and that’s it. They are not at all interested in making their business profitable. That's why nothing is being done there. They simply buy or train players and hold matches. In Riga they are trying to make a show out of hockey to attract fans. They are not reinventing the wheel here, but simply using schemes from the USA. Very active work with fans, schoolchildren are brought in by buses so that from childhood they can imagine what it’s like to be in an arena with ten thousand other fans. Before the hockey show, during the breaks there are competitions. In general, here hockey is a show aimed at making people go. This is business. All stores have a lot of Dynamo products, from batteries to sausages. In Russia they are just starting to do this sluggishly. Until people want to earn money, they will not try for the audience.
