Because around me, it seems, there is not a single person left who is able to talk to me about anything else. And also because some people display astonishing ignorance. However, we ourselves are to blame for the latter - we haven’t made excuses all these days, so we turned out to be extreme.

Because all journalists know or have the opportunity to verify that it was LIVE, and even more so they know that watching a live broadcast in advance is a new word in world television broadcasting, unknown to us.
When Masha Gessen writes in a respected English-language publication that we planned to show this recording only to foreigners, I understand that Masha Gessen did not bother to conduct basic superficial research before writing the article, and therefore does not know that it was published on our Russian-language YouTube page and ONLY on her.
When some of my friends ask me in all seriousness: “Well, tell me honestly, was this planned?” - I want to fly into space - maybe at least in space people are generally sane.
When a significant, famous and respected person tells me that yesterday he was forced to “discourage” me from other significant, famous and respected people who convinced him that I was an intelligence officer and part of a conspiracy to clash power elites, and this leak is only part of the implementation of this conspiracy is not even funny to me.
Therefore, allow me a few points about this entry.
A) This was not a RT broadcast. Our cameramen, directors, etc. were not within a kilometer radius of this studio. It was a broadcast of other channels, which we, like everyone else, received from them in a pool. I don’t want to point fingers at anyone, blame specific channels and sort things out with colleagues. I'd just be grateful if people would stop asking me, "Why didn't you turn off the camera?" Our cameras weren't there.
B) It was a live broadcast. We did not post this recording, it went through us to our YouTube channel, with our logo in real time and in the form in which we received it from the pool.
Q) When our guys saw that the official interview had ended, and none of those who broadcast it were going to turn off the broadcast, they tried to turn it off on our YouTube. But they couldn't. Because YouTube is not our site, and it is impossible to instantly turn off an already established signal from there. We don’t yet know why it’s impossible and how to make it possible, and we’ve sent an official request to YouTube.
D) Even if it were possible to turn off the broadcast on YouTube immediately, there would still be a risk that the editor simply would not do this until, for example, I called him. That is, after again the required couple of minutes. Because the editor has no idea - the “unofficial part”, which for some reason continues to be heard in the signal to all participants in the pool - is it really not intended for other people’s ears or is this the idea of the organizers and now there will be a surprise. “Well, since they continue to give us this, it means that perhaps some kind of informal surprise is being prepared there, because otherwise the signal would have been cut off long ago,” the editor thinks, and he is right. Because that's what happened. But in such a way that the unofficial part was not intended for broadcast, but at the same time continued to be distributed - this is exactly what has not happened in my memory.
D) I regret that something that was not intended for other people’s ears ended up in the public domain, including with our logo (by the way, the same “technical part” was distributed in a pool by Reuters, which for some reason no one remembers). We will no longer transmit live broadcasts not organized by ourselves to YouTube. Because you need to rely only on yourself and your employees. At least you know who to ask.
