The player trade union threatens the NHL pressure using antimonopoly legislation

The NHL trade union came close to the implementation of their threat to self -expand so that its participants could make financial claims to the League leadership on the basis of the US antimonopoly legislation.

As confirmed in a brief report for the league print, appeal to the federal court in New York, where the NHL headquarters is located, and to NSTO were undertaken in response to the emergence of "information indicating that the trade union asked or intends to ask the" players to vote for the endowment of its law of actual self-destruction.

If the trade union receives such a right and uses it, then this will turn into a radical change in the situation in the negotiations of players and the leadership of the League, ITAR-TASS reports.

The US antitrust legislation prohibits the employer to arrange a locout to those persons of wage labor who are not members of trade union associations. In such a situation, the employer faces a fine in an amount three times exceeding wages, not received by hired force during the local.
