Liberals have always tried to create for themselves the image of “fighters for human rights”, “opponents of violence”, “supporters of democracy”, “tolerance” and “pluralism of opinions”, almost innocent lambs for whom human rights and freedoms are of the highest value. And in order not to sin against the truth, it is worth noting the fact that some liberals really sincerely believe in their ideals and correspond to them in real life. But this is only a small part, the “tip of the iceberg” of the democratic camp. I would like to emphasize that the author did not set himself the task of insulting adequate, sane supporters of liberal ideology - I have always respected these people, who firmly defend their beliefs, despite fundamental differences on many political issues. Therefore, in order to avoid confusion, and, as a result, unjustified grief for the author of the article, below we will call sane supporters of the ideas of freedom and democracy - liberals, and democrats, all kinds of crazy people, "rootless cosmopolitans" - liberals. They will be discussed in this article. Since the words liberalast and liberastia are mentioned more than once in the text, it is worth separately defining the specific terminology used.

Liberastia is a political mutation, a parody of democratic ideology, elevating to the absolute all the worst features of liberalism, exaggerated political correctness brought to the point of mania, veneration of national and sexual minorities, rootless cosmopolitanism, sycophancy before Western civilization, accompanied by truly satanic hatred towards nationalism and communism . The distinctive features of a liberal are intolerance of other people's opinions, inability to compromise and any creative activity, inability to negotiate and political prostitution.

Considering the disease of liberalism in Russian liberalism, it is worth going back nineteen years ago, to the past, and remembering the early nineties and the heroic defense of the Supreme Council from units loyal to the usurper Yeltsin. In those days when communists and patriots shed their blood at Ostankino and the White House, defending the Supreme Soviet, a group of liberal intelligentsia published in the Izvestia newspaper an appeal to the Yeltsin occupation regime under the resounding headline “Crush the reptile!”

In addition to the hysteria about communist-fascists, red-brown monsters and offensive language towards communists and nationalists, the appeal also contained specific proposals regarding how exactly the red-brown plague should be eradicated:

“This time we must firmly demand from the government and the president what they should have done (together with us) a long time ago, but did not:

— All types of communist and nationalist parties, fronts and associations must be dissolved and prohibited by presidential decree.

— Legislation providing for tough sanctions for the propaganda of fascism, chauvinism, racial hatred, and calls for violence and cruelty must finally come into effect. Prosecutors, investigators and judges who patronize such socially dangerous crimes should be immediately removed from work.

— Press organs that day after day incited hatred, called for violence and are, in our opinion, one of the main organizers and culprits of the tragedy that occurred (and potential culprits of many future ones), such as “Den”, “Pravda”, “Soviet Russia” ", "Literary Russia", as well as the television program "600 seconds" and a number of others should be closed until the trial.

— The activities of Soviet government bodies that refused to submit to the legitimate authority of Russia must be suspended.

“Recognize as illegitimate not only the Congress of People’s Deputies and the Supreme Council, but also all the bodies formed by them (including the Constitutional Court).”

After reading these lines carefully, you will understand that the creative liberal intelligentsia who wrote this appeal is a kind of progenitor of the law “On Combating Extremist Activities,” censorship and persecution for political reasons.

Now let's talk not about times that are almost epic and half-forgotten, but about today. As one example, consider the publication in Novaya Gazeta of Olga Romanova, who enjoys undeserved fame and popularity in liberal circles. Here is a quote from her article: “But the main section - discipline and law and order - has been abolished since 2010... Membership in this section provided a ticket for parole. Now for many convicts - and primarily on economic charges - there is no such ticket .

Since the end of April last year, courts and colonies have been looking at whether a citizen who has not admitted his guilt is in the order section. That is, whether a citizen takes part in the public life of the zone or not. Now there is nothing to see, the “asset”, that is, the colonial public, has been liquidated,” Olga Romanova complains.

I think that people who read these lines and have been in prison have drawn their conclusions about Olga Romanova once and for all. For readers who are far from the realities of prison camps, a small but necessary clarification should be made: the SDP is not a “ticket for parole,” but an internal camp police subordinate to the administration, consisting of prisoners who have taken the path of reform. Olga Romanova, apparently, for the sake of a “parole ticket” for her husband, is ready to justify informers and traitors whose hands are up to their elbows in blood. Tens and hundreds of pages have been written about the horrors that were and are being done by “convicts who have taken the path of correction” in Russian colonies. In order not to overload the text with quotes from texts by other authors, I will give a short excerpt from my own article.

“The situation in the camp is such that in order to influence a prisoner, the FSIN employees do not even have to resort to penalties established by law (punishment, transfer to strict conditions of detention, transfer to a cell-type room, etc.). For all “sins” “punishment is prescribed and carried out by “goats” - prisoners who collaborate with the administration, as a rule, holding the positions of orderlies, foremen, caretakers (previously, these functions were also performed by SDP officers). These punishments, of course, are not regulated in any way, but represent ordinary beatings, bullying, or, at best, fines... It should be noted that all kinds of human rights violations, including systematic beatings, in IK-17 have not surprised anyone for a long time and from something out of the ordinary have turned into standard of living." It should be noted that the colony No. 17 in question is located in the Kirov region, the governor of which is Nikita Belykh, known for his liberal views.

I think this information is enough to understand the values ​​and beliefs of Olga Romanova. Such statements (regarding the SDP, for example) would be forgivable for a person far from the realities of the Russian penal system, but are completely unacceptable for someone who holds the position of leader of Sitting Rus'.

It is worth mentioning separately the “hero” of Bolotnaya Square, the leader of the Internet hamsters - Alexei Navalny. It must be admitted that sometimes he speaks the right words, worthy of every decent oppositionist. For example, Navalny demands the repeal of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which is deservedly considered political. But, demanding that responsibility for extremism be removed from the Criminal Code, Navalny for some reason forgets that he himself imprisoned a person under Article 282, having written a denunciation against him to the prosecutor’s office. We are talking about the well-known Maxim Martsinkevich, nicknamed Tesak, who raised his hand in a Roman salute during a debate at the Bilingua club. Yes, Tesak is a more than suspicious character, he worked against the National Bolsheviks, a moral monster, besides (just remember the scandalous video “Tesak and the Secret of the SS”), but, contrary to the opinion of many of Navalny’s supporters, this is not a reason to stoop to writing denunciations to the prosecutor's office. The point here is not in the personality of Maxim Martsinkevich, but in Navalny himself, who tries to be holier than all saints, and at the same time allows actions that do not correspond to his own words. There is nothing surprising about this. Hypocrisy and double standards are characteristic features of every liberal.

If liberals ever come to power in the Russian Federation, then in comparison with their rule, the Putin regime will seem to us an exemplary kingdom of freedom and democracy. Amid hysterical cries of “crush the reptile!” and cries about the “red-brown plague”, they will archive all their democratic slogans and establish a fascist dictatorship in Russia. And all their opponents - communists, nationalists, national Bolsheviks - will face repression and red zones, the order of which Olga Romanova so admires.
