"Freedom March" in Leningrad

"Winter, we're leaving!"

The notorious “Freedom March” most of all reminded me of November 7 and the actions of liberals on Russian Flag Day. Several hundred activists come out and celebrate “Another anniversary...”. So yesterday, in Moscow, Leningrad, and some other cities of Russia, the first commemoration of the failed December “revolution” took place.

The most appropriate slogan. It is sinful to persecute sick people.

A small column, dominated by elderly people, walked disciplinedly and law-abidingly along the sidewalk from the Gorkovskaya metro station to the Field of Mars. Another twenty minutes after arriving at the final point of the route, “civil society” evaporated in the frosty air of winter Leningrad.

“We are replacing the swindler and thief Putin with the swindler and thief Navalny.”

Of course, there were tired calls, the content of which called into question the creative abilities of the “creative class.” “Putin is a thief!”, “Mother of God, drive Putin away!”, “Putin-ski-Magadan!”, “This is our city!”, “The police are with the people!” etc. It should be noted that a hundred years ago the slogans of St. Petersburg workers with four classes of education were immeasurably more meaningful than the pearls of the best sons of the Russian intelligentsia at the beginning of the 21st century: “Down with autocracy!”, “Eight-hour working day!”, “All power to the Soviets.” !" etc. The sons of peasants, unlike their refined great-grandsons, put forward absolutely specific political and social demands.

The presence of left-wing activists at this event was clearly unnecessary. Distributing leaflets to journalists, liberal grandmothers and activists of class-alien parties was not worth the time or effort. On the other hand, it is better to see some things once, understand them and draw appropriate conclusions. The “general civil protest movement,” in which a handful of capitalists and liberal demagogues tried to enter the Kremlin paradise, failed. It seems that this has now become clear to the most convinced optimists and supporters of cooperation with the right. It’s time for the communists to stop playing “Constitutional Assemblies” (how is she doing there, by the way?) and “Marches of Billions”, and should deal with issues on their agenda, defending the interests of the proletariat and fighting for the return of power to the working people.
