The winners of the Zworykin Prize 2012 have been announced

At the V All-Russian Youth Innovation Convention in Skolkovo on December 18, the winners of the Zworykin Prize for young scientists and innovators were announced, reports ToWave.ru .

Out of more than 1,500 innovative projects submitted for the Prize in the period from May 1 to September 15, 2012, the expert commission selected 15 finalists .

This year the winners were determined in five categories:

Best innovative idea.

Best innovative project.

Best innovative product.

The best socially significant innovative project.

Best IT project.

In the “Best IT Project” category, the winner was Skolkovo resident RealSpeaker, which developed technology for speech recognition and converting it into text.

The winner in the category “Best Innovative Product” was Alexander Toma with the project “Production of high-tech surgical instruments for kyphoplasty.”

Olga Oshurkova’s project “Mobile Dairy Kitchen” was recognized as the best socially significant innovative project.

Among the innovative ideas, the idea of ​​the project “Lactocore: an indispensable component of children’s nutrition” was recognized as the best.

In the category “Best Innovative Project,” the winner was Alexander Berveno with his project “Energy-efficient technology for producing carbon molecular sieves for gas separation and air purification.”

The All-Russian Youth Innovation Convention (VMIC) is an annual all-Russian professionally oriented event that brings together about 1,000 young authors of innovative projects. The organizers of the convention are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Zworykin Project, the Skolkovo Technopark and the Moscow State Humanitarian University named after M.A. Sholokhov, the official partners are RVC and the venture fund LETA Capital.
