A very sad holiday

The ninth day of the hunger strike of mothers with many children is coming to an end.

Several events made him special against the gray background of the sluggish schizophrenia of the Moscow and federal authorities. Well, Putin’s communication with journalists is either good or not at all; I will only note that the exhausted women did not hear a word about themselves or about ways to resolve the accumulated issues in the housing sector.

We waited and listened in vain for more than four hours. There were no brave souls to inform the president about the action of desperate families in the center of the capital. There is no need to upset the Guarantor of the Constitution, especially before the New Year. Well, yes, to hell with them all.

The incident at the Tatarstan embassy in Moscow was no longer even upsetting due to its demonstrative cruelty. A volunteer girl made an attempt to help Oksana Ryzhkova, the mother of five children, and came to the Tatarstan embassy with a letter addressed to the government of this republic. She spoke about the danger threatening Oksana’s life. But the lady in the waiting room turned out to be no weakling:

“We don’t give a damn who dies there!” - came the energetic answer. - All letters by mail only! - And ended the conversation.

From the point of view of service instructions, this lady is absolutely right. And I personally haven’t met other points of view, kind-hearted, human ones, for a long time. And although in some laws there is an expression “by way of exception” (and is legally correct), in practice this is not applied.

You understand, such ruthlessness is a diagnosis for the whole country and all of us, a perfect illustration of which is the sadistic law named after Dima Yakovlev, adopted by the Duma.

And lastly, a drop of honey in this pool of tar: today is the BIRTHDAY of Yulia Kotrutsa, a homeless mother, the youngest participant in the indefinite hunger strike. She turned 22 years old. Congratulations, Julia! We hope you will celebrate many more birthdays, and everything will be as it should be - cakes, salads, balloons, and most importantly - a roof over your head!
