The end of the world for children?

Yesterday, Children's Rights Commissioner Pavel Astakhov spoke on the Central Television program on NTV. The main defender of childhood in the country decided to go on air so unprepared and say this:

“Self-interest or ignorance pushes us to the conclusion: if it’s not me, it’s better for an American to take the child! There’s a different life and a different reality! My soul, however, hurts because today the question is posed this way: either give it to foreigners, or the children will die ... According to this logic, you know, we must give all the old people away tomorrow. Let’s send them abroad too. And then let’s send all the sick there, too, let’s divide the country and distribute it to different countries that have already been taken from us. children, old people, sick people."

And so I, as a simple person, wanted to ask:

What did you, personally, Pavel, and the authorities do all these years, before the adoption of this cannibalistic anti-law? Why did you remember about children specifically because of the “Magnitsky law”? Haven’t the problems of our orphanages and shelters, having arisen at least two decades ago, remained without due attention for so many years? Did you, just today, resolve all of them and suddenly find yourself ready to offer children a worthy alternative?

If, by such a happy coincidence with the adoption of the notorious law, you have a worthy alternative, do not languish and let us rejoice with you and your children! Have you found a Russian family for each child? Or did the state suddenly really feel ashamed, as you noticed, and is it ready to provide them with acceptable housing, provide payments of 1,000 euros, treatment, and education for each child placed in a family? Yes, for that kind of money, it’s personally hard for me to believe that there isn’t a family in our country willing to adopt a child! However, they don’t adopt! Why? So there is no such money? There are candy wrappers, but no sweet contents! Someone ate it and didn't choke! If you claim that in Kuban children are adopted for benefits of 20 thousand rubles, and they ask to be given even more of these children, why don’t you give them away, and there are still about 700 thousand of them in orphanages!

Or maybe the state has equipped all orphanages and orphanages in such a way that, as Zhirinovsky said, millions of children today dream of going there? Why shouldn’t all houses be like a certain private orphanage in Krasnoyarsk? Or did you manage to visit all 2,500(!) orphanages existing in the country and stop all the cases of child abuse that you are talking about? And if these homes and this entire adoption system have criminal, well-established, selfish interests, why have you not taken the proper measures for so many years? Was it really necessary to wait for the Magnitsky law, allowing criminals to sell their children for 40-50 thousand euros all these years?

The false patriotism of government officials has reached such cynicism and cruelty that today they sacrificed defenseless children to their perverted ideas of good and evil, and tomorrow they will take on the elderly, disabled and sick!

Is it worth talking about the end of the world if it has already come!
