Pros and cons of the "anti-Magnitsky" law

Initially, the bill provided for measures of influence on persons involved in violating the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation, but already in the second reading, a number of amendments were included in the text of the bill, providing for a ban on the adoption of Russian children by US citizens and the activities of bodies and organizations on the territory of the Russian Federation for the selection and transfer of children to adoption to American citizens.
