In Nalchik, 15 drivers were detained for demonstrating against the installation of the GLONASS system

An unauthorized protest was held on December 24 in Nalchik by minibus drivers. More than 120 people protested against the requirements of the technical regulations on equipping vehicles with GLONASS satellite navigation equipment, the Caucasian Knot reports with reference to the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs tried to disperse the protest, but the drivers dispersed on their own. 15 protesters were taken to the police. “The issue of bringing them to justice established by law is being decided,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
