The court recognized the inaction of the investigation in the case of a terrorist attack on Dubrovka illegal

On December 26, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow recognized the inaction of investigators in the case of the Dubrovka terrorist attack , RIA Novosti reports.

The lawyer of the injured party, Igor Trunov, said that the investigator did not even provide clear arguments by which he refuses to initiate a criminal case on a terrorist attack .

On October 23, 2002, armed terrorists burst into the theater center on Dubrovka, where the Nord-Ost musical was taken. They took 912 people hostage. The special services stormed the building after three days, as a result, the bandits were killed, and the hostages were freed. However, 130 hostages could not be saved. In total, 50 terrorists were neutralized as a result of the special operation, 18 of them were women.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee refused to institute criminal proceedings against officials who committed violations during the assault on the theater center. In mid -October, lawyer Igor Trunov appealed to the Lefortovo court with a complaint with a request to recognize the inaction of investigators illegal and unreasonable.

The court granted the complaint, but in early December, the Moscow City Court canceled the decision of the court of first instance and sent a complaint to a new consideration.
