Panov was accused of four more crimes

The Main Investigative Department of the GUMVD in the Sverdlovsk Region presented the former chef of the Ura.ru news agency Aksana Panovaya of the commission of four more crimes. At the same time, as the journalist said on her Facebook page, the property was seized in the framework of one of the newly established cases.

The charge under part 1 of article 201 of the Criminal Code (the use by a person performing managerial functions in a commercial organization, contrary to the legitimate interests of this organization), was presented to Panova for allegedly transferred 12 million rubles from the Ura.ru accounts, which she then cashed and spent on personal needs.

Accusations under part 3 of Article 163 (extortion in order to receive property on an especially large scale) and part 2 of the same article (large -scale extortion) were imputed by the journalist for her, according to law enforcement officers, extorting funds from businessmen under the threat of the distribution of defamatory information.

Finally, the charge under Part 3 of Article 159 (fraud using their official position) was brought by the ex-editor for the alleged theft of 100 thousand rubles when signing an information support agreement with a commercial company.

According to the website of the department, Panova said that due to a large amount of prosecution, she needs time to agree with lawyers the position of her protection, and the interrogation of the journalist was postponed for a later term.

The preventive measure for the ex -editor is left the same - a subscription about the lower room. "The question of the conclusion of Panova in custody can be subject to discussion only if it itself violates the conditions of a preventive measure selected against her or will impede the proceedings," the regional police website notes.

Panova was also offered to give a subscription to non -disclosure of the details of the investigation. “I didn’t sign. The investigator claims that my refusal means nothing: supposedly after presenting the subscription begins to act automatically, and if I start talking - a new criminal. I’m not afraid. The guys from the“ Echo of Moscow ”just gave the contacts of lawyers who faced such a plug of mouth,” the journalist said.

Earlier, the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an official statement from the representative of BF Ten Holding GmbH about Panova’s prosecution for theft of $ 5 million when selling BF Ten Holding 51 percent share of Ura.ru. The police started checking. Panova rejected all the accusations.

In November, investigators opened another criminal case of extortion, which is suspected of which Panova passes. The case was opened under paragraph "b" of part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code (extortion on an especially large scale). The maximum punishment for this crime is imprisonment for up to 15 years. “The case was initiated at the request of citizen K. I can’t explain who this is: the name is or the surname,” said Tatyana Vasilieva, spokesman for the GUMVD of the region. “The victim said that multiple publications of a negative nature are posted on the Ura.ru website, which defended and disgraced him personally, as well as his relatives.”

On October 24, a case was opened against Panova under an article on extortion. According to the investigation, Ura.ru disseminated negative information about various people and organizations. After that, the victim was invited to pay for "silence." Panova did not admit the accusation, saying that she was slandered by the general director of the "regional television" Anton Stulikov at the request of the governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev. Previously, the case of the theft of 10 million rubles was initiated. Panova claimed that there was no theft, and the case was fabricated.

"The true motive for the actions of the security forces is to stop the activities of the journalistic team, which consistently criticizes the leaders of the power structures of the region, the key leaders of the Sverdlovsk region," the Ura.ru website said. The agency in its publications criticized the work of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, pointing to corruption among its employees. After a series of critical publications on the Internet, audio recordings and decryption of telephone negotiations of Panova appeared, in which she compared the envoy of Igor Kholmansky with Earthworms.

On December 27, Panova wrote a confession, admitting that she paid employees as a salary of 10 million rubles disappeared from the agency’s account. “It was not theft, these money were issued to journalists as wages. These amounts are checked very easily, because since April all wages were officially paid to the card and precisely in those amounts that had previously passed in cash,” said Panova’s lawyer Sergei Kolosovsky.
