Putin signed the “anti-Magnitsky” law with “anti-orphan” amendments

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law called the “Dima Yakovlev Law” and became a response to the “Magnitsky Act” adopted in the United States.

The Kremlin press service on Friday announced that Putin had signed the law “On measures of influence on persons involved in violations of fundamental human rights and freedoms, the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation,” adopted by the State Duma and approved by the Federation Council.
