The St. Petersburg opposition will hold a rally against anti -Sirot law

Petersburg opposition has applied for a rally for the abolition of anti -Sirot law. As ITAR -TASS was told by the activist of the Young Democrats, Nikolai Artemenko, the event is supposed to be held on January 13 on the Marse Field, beginning at 19:00, the estimated number of participants is up to 1000 people. The organizers expect an answer from Smolny no earlier than January 10.

Artemenko added that the promotion will be a supra -party. “We invite everyone who supports our requirements,” the opposition said.

“We wanted to hold a promotion exactly one day with Moscow opposition, but the requirements of the procession in the capital are wider,” Artemenko also noted. Obviously, the activist had in mind that the St. Petersburg opposition, unlike the capital, will not demand the dissolution of both the chambers of the Federal Assembly.

The St. Petersburg organization "Young Democrats" was formed in December 2012 by local members of the Youth Yabloko, who left the party in protest against the actions of the federal bureau. At the beginning of the month, the Federal Bureau excluded about 20 people from Yabloko, including the former head of the regional branch. Partyers were accused of falsifications at the city’s selection in 2011.

In Moscow, as it became known on Saturday morning, the opposition submitted a notification of the procession from the Belorussky station to the Okhotny Ryad in protest against the anti -Sirot law on January 13. The organizers proposed the city hall and an alternative route - from Kaluga Square to the State Duma building. In social networks, the preparing procession was called the march against the scoundrels. The application was filed for 20 thousand people. The rally is not planned at the end of the procession. Start at 14:00, collection from 13:00. The notification was signed by Olga Belkova, Evgenia Tretyakov, Peter Tsarkov and Alexander Ryklin.

“The basic requirements are to cancel the law to adopt orphans by American citizens, dissolve the State Duma, the Federation Council that adopted this law. We consider it an anti -human and wild, inadequate reaction to the Magnitsky list,” said one of the organizers of the march, the coordinator of the left front Sergey Udaltsov.

On Saturday, the text of the Law on Anti -American sanctions was officially published by the Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The day before, the law was signed by Vladimir Putin. On Wednesday, the Federation Council unanimously approved the law. On December 21, the law "On measures of influence on persons involved in violations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of a person, rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation" was adopted by the State Duma.

On December 21, in the morning, Novaya Gazeta employees transferred more than 100 thousand to the State Duma gathered on the website of the publication of signatures against the anti -Sirot law. Journalists cleaned and deleted all the signatures of the bots.
