
On the Tu-204 aircraft, which crashed during the landing at the Vnukovo metropolitan airport, the Russian national football team used to fly, the Championat.com website reports.
According to the publication, on the Tu-204 belonging to Red Wings, the Russian team flew at the time when it was led by the Dutch specialist of the HUS Hiddink, in 2009 and 2010.
It is also noted that on the wreckage of the fuselage of the crashed the aircraft, the emblem of the Russian Football Union is still located - a heraldic eagle, which saddled a football ball.
The Tu-204 plane on Saturday at 16:45 rolled out of the runway in the "Vnukovo" and fell apart. Four people died, four more were injured. Only the crew was on board. Among the dead are the commander of the aircraft.
