This is not me, this is my brain. Such, it seems, is the answer of the twenty -first century to the question of the nineteenth. This innovation (not by the night, the word be mentioned) has not yet reached the ocean, but it will reach ... strictly speaking, the movement in this direction - when the fault is for undertakeable acts, or even for the entire life scenario, it is assigned to various kinds of physiological or even anatomical features - has been observed earlier. But only with the onset of the new millennium did the matter come to the point of almost completely lifting the responsibility from the personality and give it to the “acids”, in particular deoxyribonucleinova, so twisted into the spiral that no court will understand ... the suffering of the young Werther, Turgenevsky young ladies, unnecessary people, Rakhmetovs and Frankensteins, Sharykovs and Gannibal lectures with lectures Silent lambs-all-all we will now bring to four letters-a, g, t and c [1] -of them and the text of the sentence. Convenient, but ashamed and dangerous. Without a decade ago, this was caught by Joseph Brodsky: “... Telepaths, Buddhists, spiritualists, drugs, Freudists, neurologists, psychopaths ... The soul will be tightened with a large veil. They will unite us with a continuous spiral. Stuck in a socket with an ethyl morale. Speech will be freed from the verb. "
The brain in the world and the world in the brain
The theme of this article goes beyond the redistribution of anthropological discussions about human nature and affects the radical principles of the functioning of the most complex of all complex systems - the neural network. We are talking about the degree of personal independence from physiological (if not physicochemical) processes, determinism of behavior of brain properties and even genetics, when it is impossible to avoid the question of freedom of will as a network itself (can it behave differently?) And the subject. The latter is of fundamental importance for any discussions about the specifics of a person and his differences from “zombies” or other virtual or real systems that claim to have human abilities.
Probably, most people will agree that a distinctive feature of a person is consciousness. The case is small: there is no consensus regarding the definition of what, in fact, it is ... The term consciousness is used in at least two different aspects: as a characteristic of the presence of such a property in living creatures and as the presence of certain levels and states of consciousness. In fact, there are many different meanings that are invested in this:
• Any creature that is feeling and reacting to external stimuli has consciousness. Then we must admit that they have fish, shrimp, etc.
• The condition is not in a dream and not in a coma. How then in this sense to determine the condition in a dream, in hypnosis, etc.?
• Awareness: we are not only aware, we are still aware that we are aware. What then to be with young children? With highly developed, but not talking creatures?
• The so -called What is it [2] when it is proposed to imagine what the world is from the point of view of another consciousness - for example, a bat with its echolocation or octopus. Virtually conceivable alien creatures are a little more incomprehensible to us in this sense than any earthly animal.
In modern science, there is a very wide range of types of attitudes towards the problem of consciousness and its natural scientific study-from narrow-lecture-scientific, when the most difficult and dramatic issues are simply treated (and this is characteristic of most experimentally working scientists), until the irrespective of these parallel “worlds” and call not to look for neurophysiological correlations of consciousness (and then this is a way out of the limits scientific paradigm or, at least, its natural scientific block).
Some hope for a way out of this situation is inspired by the development of cognitive-visa approaches, multidisciplinary by definition. For example, a radical cognitiveist (as he calls himself) Viktor Allahverdov is in opposition to irrationalism and non -non -cognitiveism, a view of a person from the standpoint of a synthetic theory of evolution, to behaviorism and psychoanalysis - and claims that “recognition of the disruption of cognition for behavior, orientation on the description of the processes of information processing, understanding the role of subjective constructs in the description of the description The world, the emphasis on the problems of the correlation of the conscious and unconscious ”inspires hope for a breakthrough and a way out of the impasse. He also claims that consciousness is a delayed structure, since the brain carries out independent checks, choosing the correct, in his opinion, hypotheses from different options, including erroneous [3] .
Subjective reality, Qualia, or phenomenal consciousness is almost the main topic in these discussions. This is also emphasized by the largest modern neurophysiologist Gerald Edelman [4] . The central problem of consciousness - how are subjective experiences generated by physical phenomena? A huge number of articles and books continues to be written about this. We see only what we know. Images and representations are not a copy or even the sum of the physical signals arriving at our receptors. Our brain builds them. In other words, what is seen, heard and tangible is excellent in different species of animals and all of them from us not because the ranges of vision, hearing, smell, etc. are different, but because all creatures, which processes sensory signals, forming subjective (!) Images. Not only different species, but also in different people who are one species, are different Qualia. It should also be emphasized that the presence of subjective reality is not revealed by behaviorist methods, therefore, experimental verification requires special mental study.
In connection with the foregoing, you need to get used to making serious amendments to individual, ethnic, confessional, professional and other cultural differences that built the neural network and subjective worlds of different people. The radical importance of the cross-cultural (as it is now called) the specifics of thinking was described by Nikolai Marr, Israel Frank-Kamenetsky [5] ,

Olga Freidenberg [6] , Pavel Gurevich, Mikhail Stublin-Kamensky ... The brain is not the sum of billions of neurons and their connections, but such a sum plus the individual experience that this instrument formed-our brain-and set it up. Perception is an active extraction of knowledge and the construction of the world. Different living systems do this in their own way, extracting the necessary characteristics from the world (for example, magnetic fields or polarized light) and building specific models of the world. It is the presence of the subjective world and the subject itself that distinguishes a person from cyborg. Bye. The difference between a person also consists in the possession of Arbitrium Liberum - freedom of will, the ability to voluntarily and conscious choice and an agreement with the decision - voluntarius consusus.
All cognitive processes are obtaining and processing information according to certain rules and algorithms. There are mental representations in the brain that provide contact with the world. These are high -degree abstraction hypotheses that lie at the base of the picture of the world, which cannot be checked empirically, because there is simply no “real” picture of the world, or only the Creator knows it. The addition of opinions of a statistically acceptable number of people does not add anything, since they all have a similar brain. According to Kant, “reason does not draw his laws (a priori) from nature, but prescribes them to her” [7] . It is not possible to evade the dangerous question: why is formal thinking applicable to the real world? Why do we accept as an axiom that the construction well organized within the framework of our algorithms is true? True in the framework of our thinking.
Here we are faced with a paradox: the brain is in the world, and the world is in the brain. The search for subjective experience in the physical world (i.e., as the intensity of sensory stimuli) is absurd: it is not there, since it is built in the brain, in a separate, additional space of the brain. Who looks at mental representations? Who interprets them? [8]
It would seem that the answer “I” is obvious, but ... as if from a different measurement, from another space, from the inside of the brain, but not as a physical object, but as a mental subject. And after all, the brain leads (with someone) a dialogue ... And who speaks with whom (“you wouldn’t go there” ...)? Previously, they would say - the right and left hemispheres, as if two different personalities. But now this picture has become much more motley, and the brain is much more “more populated”. It seems that the texts of the neural network are read by the neural network itself, into which we came across or which, perhaps, are ... only that the world has come into it. Or she herself is the world. And its shape, density, grace of weaving, flexibility and elasticity are living, and we can launch our patterns without obeying the templates given to us a priori for stability [9] .
Can we trust the brain? Its potential ability to supply personality not only of false sensory and semantic information, but also an inadequate assessment of the sensations of sensations to this subject, is well known from mental pathology. Studies by Vileyanur Ramachandran [10] show that the “conviction of consciousness” can destroy them, therefore, there are ways of arbitrary, conscious impact even on such extremely anomal sensations.
The question that still does not go anywhere: our brain is the implementation of the “many sets that are not members of themselves” Bertrand Russell [11] or a self-sufficient masterpiece, which is in recursive relations with the personality permitted in which he is placed? And what is placed in? What is from the world that we perceive and to which we adapt, belongs to him, and what does our brain generate? This means that the question of the separation of the subject and the object remains central.
This was long aware of the largest minds, for example, Alexei Ukhtomsky, an outstanding domestic scientist who was ahead of his time for almost a century and believed that there is neither a subject nor an object, that we are not spectators, but the participants, and even that our nature is made, that is, it is, as it were, and there is no regardless of us. In this regard, it is necessary to recall Alexander Pyatigorsky and Merab Mamardashvili [12] , as well as Vladimir Zinchenko [13] , who directly said that being and consciousness are a continuum and that thinking and existence coincide.
A situation where the object of study is not independent of the observer, physics has long experienced when the quantum theory began to be developed and the world was embarrassed by Schrödinger's cat. Such plots, violating all the usual ideas about space and time, as it is customary to think, is populated by the quantum world in which it all depends on the presence of the observer. Until recently, such phenomena were observed in Macromir. But this is in physics, and in the sciences studying living systems, the role of the observer - the role of the brain - should not be underestimated. So, analytical philosophy is the same player in this field as neurophysiology and cognitive psychology.
Strictly speaking, now the neuronauki and the philosophy of consciousness are perfectly dispensed with each other, one might even say that they even interfere with each other, as they are forced to look at each other mutually. The hope of building a bridge between them, designed to overcome the failure, is still very ghostly: the current state of research can still be described as Where -it-Happens Studies, since any most sophisticated technique gives only the answer to the question of which zones in the brain are active or passive during a particular activity, while I would like to get not “addresses”, but explanations.
In the discussion of issues about the autonomy of the brain raised in the articles of Ernst Nagel, David Dubrovsky insists that a person can “operate on his own free will of his neurodynamic systems, that is, manage them” [14] , and it follows that hard internal determinism is not obvious.
Is the brain a creator or a mirror?
In 1922, long before the emergence of cognitive science, Semyon Frank wrote: “Social studies are distinguished by the methodological feature that in it the subject of knowledge in a certain respect coincides with its object. The anti -anthill researcher is not a member of the anthill himself, the bacteriologist belongs to a different group of phenomena than the world of microorganisms he studies, but there is a social scholar himself - consciously or unconsciously - a citizen, that is, a participant in the society studied by him ” [15] . Let us recall in connection with his brilliant predecessors. “The Great Kant taught us that the time, space and causality in all its pattern and the capabilities of all their forms are in our minds completely independently of the objects that are and constitute their content,” wrote Arthur Schopenhauer, “or, in other words, they can be equally based on the subject or from the object; Therefore, they can be called equal right to both the methods of contemplation of the subject and the properties of the object, since the latter has an object (Kant: Phenomenon), that is, an idea ” [16] .
We know that the baby, born now, is genetically little different from born at the beginning of our biological history. It is known which lines turned out to be dead -end and which led to the emergence of a person of a modern type and various racial and ethnic groups. Despite the ambiguity of the attitude to the discussion about whether the biological evolution of a person continues, it should be indicated by the appearance of data showing that the human brain is still under the influence of adaptive evolutionary processes (for example, a microcephalum - a genus regulating the volume of the brain, continues to adapt adaptively) [17] .
The discovery of Jakomomo Rizzulatti and Michael Arbibus of Mirror Neurons [18] and generally mirror systems gives completely new data on the emergence of language and reflection as the foundations of human consciousness [19] . Mirror brain systems form external information - actions performed by another creature, not necessarily the same species, but with an understandable coordinate system and interpreted behavior. They are in almost all parts of the human brain and are activated, including at anticipation of action, with empathy of emotions or memories of them, etc. This shows on the basis of which the brain, ready to build models of consciousness, as well as for social training and adequate behavior in society, has developed. The absence of such an ability, observed in extreme forms in autism and schizophrenia, leads to a person from society with the most severe existential consequences [20] .
The formation of reliable self -identification mechanisms with the help of these systems is extremely important, which is violated with mental pathology - schizophrenia - and is also related to the functioning of mirror systems [21] .
So, an extremely difficult organized human brain - a mirror for the world or does it form the world itself? Is it important to the world or only to the individual to ensure viability? Why should we repeat it? To duplicate what is yourself or the world? To find out how the brain itself works or what are the laws of the world as a whole? Can we duplicate what is organized more complicated than we can even imagine? Create models to check the correct hypotheses? - Yes, but, for example, by teaching artificial neural networks, we will not find out how the brain acts, but how training takes place! Just as, teaching primates to the human brutal language, we only find out to what limits they can be understood - nothing more.
Now it is clear that the processes of working with memory (recording, reading, searching) in a person and computer are very different. The organization of computer memory is based on addressing - indicating the place of information in memory. Various types of search for the content (by keys, signs, etc.) are provided by the address links. Human memory also has a large set of keys that allow you to quickly read the necessary information. However, even if we get comparable results, we have no confidence that the processes themselves were the same! For example, now there are robots that can compensate for movement disturbances due to continuous rewinding of oneself depending on the situation. Does this follow that the robot now has self -awareness and subjective reality? Freedom of will to make decisions about yourself?
Studies of Konstantin Anokhin [22] give us specific information that a high degree of complexity of memory processes is worked out by nature on animals standing on different degrees of evolutionary staircase, and the most successful moves are fixed genetically. A person has incomparably more degrees of freedom of selection of algorithms for both fixation and reading of information, which increases the level of complexity by an order of magnitude. The brain is customary to simulate as a classic physical system, which by definition is computational.

And what?
Very likely.
