"United Russia" threatens officials with the deprivation of foreign villas and bank accounts in order to protect them (the officials) from foreign influence. Patriots from United Russia forget about the numerous indirect relatives of the second and third order, on whom the thieving official will immediately register his foreign movable and immovable property and wave his hand at the would-be patriots.
It would be much more effective to prohibit the children and grandchildren of officials from traveling, studying, getting married, and having children outside their homeland, since it is close relatives living abroad who are the most vulnerable targets for hostile intelligence services around the world.
I propose that United Russia members introduce this amendment of mine to their new insanely patriotic bill.
