Without a doubt, it has been an interesting year. Reconstruction of the stadium, successes of the Olympians, rallies, “Russian Knights”, “Civil Forum”, city administration on social networks, the arrival of oppositionists, the accident with Komov and a million rubles in the village of Golovchino.

In general, 2012 was most remembered for real deeds and empty words. Like two sides of the same coin, good and... not even evil, but rather idleness. Some on a volleyball court, for example, do impossible things, and Belgorod becomes the Russian ball capital with its champions. And, for example, Mayor Bozhenov wants to “lie with his bones in order to glorify”, but... what can I say if you can see for yourself. So, a chronicle of the main things for 2012.

January 18 - Evgeny Savchenko arrives at the construction site of a new airport and orders the facility to be put into operation by August 1, 2012.

January 24 — Snowfall in Belgorod. 23 utility workers were held accountable for poor road cleaning.

January 24 — The city administration announces the introduction of a uniform form for public transport drivers. In addition, drivers are required to “keep the interior of the vehicle clean and tidy, comply with generally accepted standards of behavior, be polite, and exclude the sound of musical programs while transporting passengers.”
