How do "adoption agencies" work?

Foreign agencies for the adoption of orphans began to appear in the USSR along with Gorbachev's perestroika. Since then, this type of activity has turned into a powerful business generating income both for the agencies themselves, the foreign adoptive parents themselves (in the USA, adoptive parents receive tax breaks) and corrupt representatives of local authorities, directors of “orphanages”, maternity hospitals, judges, who were corrupted by representatives of these trade and intermediary structures. This became especially widespread in the 90s, since it was unusually easy to corrupt in those conditions because salaries were not paid for six months or a year and people had to simply survive trading on a newborn “market”, and essentially a bazaar without rules, to those who had, in this case, power and official powers.

I am writing this not as an outsider, but as the brother of a person who worked at the “Children’s Home” at that time, and since the late 90s in the guardianship authorities. That’s when, “through connections,” we managed to adopt one child and take another into a “foster family.”

Others who wished had to show miracles of heroism and perseverance.

The system works like this - Agencies receive a data bank on children from the guardianship authorities and present it to the market for foreign adoptive parents. When an adoptive parent is found, this child is no longer eligible for adoption by our citizens because no one is interested in losing money and undermining the reliability of the business. If our adoptive parent is there, there are a million ways to get rid of him - to bog him down with bureaucratic procedures, to write in the documents for this child all sorts of terrible illnesses and the circumstances of his conception by “genetic alcoholic parents” (by the way, if the adoption does not take place, but someone else is adopted, this often happens, all these fake diagnoses will accompany this person all his life, distorting it), finally, just give an opinion from a social psychologist about the psychological incompatibility of the child with the adoptive parents.

A foreign agency organizes a trip for potential adoptive parents to Russia to meet the child and distribute rewards to workers: guardianship, orphanages, judges. I don’t know where and how much money the agency itself takes from them, on the spot a child costs approximately $60 thousand.

Now such openly propaganda resources as “Echo of Matzo” and the acidic, corrosive “Rain” pouring on Russia by Count Sindeeva with her husband’s money are going into hysterics and wringing their hands, recalling in this regard the plot of “The Massacre of the Innocents” by Herod in all its versions. Powerful resonators are turned on, including provocations, deception, and at any cost forcing people to go out to protest by driving into their heads a completely false idea of ​​reality.

An argument is given that catches cultural figures and other representatives of the intelligentsia who have no idea how such commercial-bureaucratic systems work - “first create conditions for adoption and when our citizens adopt all the orphans, the question will disappear by itself.”

The passage is intended for a normal, humane person, but one who does not delve into the essence of the problem, but that is what it is.

As long as there is a powerful business of child trafficking according to the laws of the commercial-bureaucratic genre, any programs adopted by the state, backed by any money, will be torpedoed locally and get bogged down in a thick, viscous, resisting bureaucratic layer.

It will be impossible to organize the implementation of these programs because they will be organized by these very people who are not vitally interested in them.

Moreover, for every child not given to Russians for adoption, there should be a dozen more blocked adoptions for assortment, because this is the law of business - there must be a wide offer and choice on the market, there must always be a depository of orphans, a rich storefront.

This is where the cannibalistic system of hypermarkets and warehouses for assorted children's goods comes into play.

The “March of Scoundrels”, turning everything upside down, is organized by cynical and vile politicians, thirsty for power, who will lead some of the simply frostbitten individuals who think that this is now so cool and this makes them “creative”, members of the “creative class” - beautifully named and specially an ideologeme invented by political strategists for Protestants, tickling the ambition of young people who are prone to huddling in such skillfully created trendy pens. It is a pity that there may be normal, but simply deceived people who do not understand that it is they who, with this march, support true cannibalism and, as always, someone else’s monetary interests alien to them.

Understanding the meanness and hopelessness of orphanhood in Russia in the presence of a powerful business in the child trade, all factions and the entire Council of the Federal Democratic Party of Russia and the Communists united all these years about the inadmissibility of this trade, United Russia and Russia voted according to their conscience, they were simply let go of the bit, lobbyists in such a situation got scared.

So the dissatisfaction was very long-standing, the Magnitsky Act and the refusal, after the signing of the agreement on monitoring adopted children, to allow our specialists to see our own citizen-children, was just a slap in the face, the last straw, as always happens in Russia. And thank God that A situation has arisen that has made it possible to stop this cannibalism - orphan depositories for market assortment, which would have always existed without this ban.

Now the country and society have been given a chance to heal this ulcer once and for all. We didn’t have it before.
