The Ukrainian Aerosvit Airlines and the International Airlines of Ukraine (MAU) organized the return of passengers from foreign airports to Ukraine, including from Bangkok, Tel Aviv and Baku, who could not return home in time due to the abolished flights of the Aerosvit financial difficulties , RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. In total, 989 Ukrainians have already returned to Ukraine.

In particular, Aerosvit airline ensured the flight of all 194 passengers from Bangkok. Airlines-partner "International Airlines of Ukraine" delivered 40 people from Tel Aviva, awaiting departure. Mau also carries 100 passengers on Friday who could not fly out of Baku with a flight of Aerosvit on Thursday. Passengers stuck at the airports of Hoshimin, Stockholm, Tashkent, Warsaw, Budapest and Copenhagen also returned.

The head of the State Aviation Service Anatoly Kolesnik noted that "units are left unnecessary passengers," Interfax reports. On Friday, Mau announced the start of the sale of tickets for a number of new international directions for her, which will open with the beginning of summer navigation and on which the Aerosvit airline operated until recently.

According to the Mau report, from March 31, new daily flights from Kyiv to Warsaw, Kaliningrad, Vilnius and Prague will be opened.

In early April, the Mau will begin flights to Stockholm, Copenhagen, Athens, and from April 27 - in Thessaloniki and Batumi. From May 21, it is planned to open the flight Kyiv - Nizhnevartovsk.

The press service of the MAU also reports that on Friday the airline received Boeing 737-800 NEXT Generation. Another similar plane will be received on January 14. Both aircraft were previously in operation by Aerosvit.

It is planned that in the framework of the MAU fleet renewal and expansion program, two more Boeing 737-800 NEXT Generation in April-May will receive. Thus, with the beginning of summer navigation, the number of aircraft of this modification in the park will reach eight.
