A large-scale investigation has not yet been completed, but it is already clear that the former host of BBC television programs James Savvil is one of the most terrible pedophile maniacs in the history of the British kingdom.

According to the police, the pedophile “record holder” James Savvi made in 60 years about 450 attacks on girls and women. His smallest victims at that time were only eight years old. And 23 criminal episodes occurred right in the walls of the BBC television and radio company, where Savil worked.

Another 14 attacks on sexual grounds were committed by TV presenters in hospitals, prisons and even in the hospice from 1955 to 2009.

The police officer Peter Spindler, who published this statistics on Friday, called the late showman Maniac, who "had grown harassed the entire British nation."

“Undoubtedly, Savil was one of the most active sexual criminals that we had to deal with,” says Peter Watt, director of the information department of the National Society for Crueling Children (NSPCC).

In the Scotland Yard, they came to the conclusion that James Savvi committed crimes even before he became famous. But then the glory that came to him helped to remain unpunished.

The maniac showed the greatest sexual activity in 1966 - 1976. For this period, there are 34 rape and 126 cases of harassment on his part. 73 percent of James Savvil’s actions were minors at that moment, and the entire range of victims is limited by age of 8 and 47.

Savil made some attacks in the BBC television center in London. One of them occurred directly on the set of the last program of the “most popular” cycle in the summer of 2006.

“Savil’s crimes are wide, daring and cynical in nature,” said Peter Spindler. “Now he can no longer be held accountable, but we hope that the results of the investigation will bring at least some satisfaction of hundreds of his victims.”

The policeman believes that this will serve as an important lesson for the future and will teach people not to hide the facts of crimes.

The scandal with the exposure of the pedophile James Savil has already led to an increase in the number of appeals to the police and public organizations engaged in the protection of children's rights. NSPCC managed to identify 800 new crimes in this area.

On Friday, the British prosecutor’s office apologized for not giving James Savila in 2009. Apparently, even then, officials had reasons for the criminal prosecution of an elderly showman. In particular, the statements of Savvil during his lifetime were received by the police sections of the counties of Surrey and Sasex, as well as the police of London and Jersey. But this did not lead to the arrest of the TV presenter.

Only a year after his death on the ITV1 channel, a documentary program was shown about the "Secret Second Life" of James Savil. Then, from the TV screens, a call for all the victims of the pedophile did not lurk and tell about themselves.

A few days later, on November 1, 2012, comedy actor Freddy Starr was detained. Then he was released on bail.

The wave of arrests in the entertainment industry continued in the new year. On January 2, the 53-year-old former TV presenter Jim Davidson was captured. He was accused of rape two women at once.

Only 1% of rape cases end with convictions

According to statistics published by the British Ministry of Justice, every fifth woman in England and Wales was sexual attacks in 2012.

The data over the past four years show that every year 69 thousand sexual crimes against women and 9 thousand are committed in relation to men, the newspaper The Guardian writes.

At the same time, only 1,070 convictions in this category of cases (1.37 percent) are issued annually.
