At the time of the GDR, the Hoheneck prison in Saxony was the most terrible female prison, the Nazis used to be used for some time, and now they decided to give this gloomy castle to children and youth.

For seven years, Phenominia has been located in a former elementary school in Glauhau, about 15,000 people visited it a year. In the former prison, the number of visitors may double.

With the help of this concept, the overall -minister of Stolberg Marcel Schmidt wants to request subsidies and investments from the free state of Saxony, the Federation and the EU. For reconstruction, approximately 4 million euros are needed, Bild notes.
