Grigory Leps is the first of the Russian pop stars will perform in London Albert Hall

The popular Russian singer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Grigory Leps will perform on March 6 this year with the only solo concert in the famous London Royal Albert Hall, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the organizers of the performance.

Leps will be the first pop artist from Russia to perform at the prestigious London platform with a full -fledged concert.

The maximum capacity of the Royal Albert Hall Hall, which celebrated the 140th anniversary in 2011, is 5.5 thousand seats, including a standing ground, but it changes depending on the event. In 2007, the famous rock musician Boris Grebenshchikov performed here, but tickets for his concert were distributed for free.

Nevertheless, the organizers are sure that they will be able to fill the hall on the eve of International Women's Day. Together with Leps, a team of 20 people will come to London - ten stage musicians and ten auxiliary personnel.

"Leps has a giant fan base in Russia and abroad. The tickets went on sale in mid -December, and today we sold about 20%. We received applications from Germany, from Israel, from Cyprus. Therefore, we are quite optimistic about the fact that we will be able to fill out a significant part of the places in the hall," RIA Novosti told Red Square. Projects Alena Muchinskaya, who acts as the organizer of the concert from the British side (on the Russian side it is the Mill company).

Red Square Projects previously arranged concerts of Zemfira and Garik Sukachev in London, as well as Sir Paul McCartney and Michael Naiman in Russia, and participated in the anniversary concert in the Royal Albert Hall in honor of the 80th anniversary of the ex-president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev.
