In St. Petersburg, a rally against the "Law of Dima Yakovlev" began on the Marse Field in the Marse Field, according to which it is forbidden to adopt Russian children to citizens of America. The rally was agreed with the authorities of St. Petersburg. The organizers stated that the rally is civilian. In this connection, the flags of political parties were not observed on it. However, not only civil activists who were directly related to the problem of adoption of children, but also politics, for example, deputy of the St. Petersburg ZakS, performed on the tribune. His performance was ardent, he called himself a "pacifist" and remembered the unkind word of his fellow deputies-"people who have lost at least some honor and dignity." With a minute of silence, the memory of the lawyer Yuri Schmidt, who had been defending Mikhail Khodorkovsky for a long time, had the memory of the deceased on the eve of the lawyer.

From 1000 to 1,500 people took part in the action. Right on the rostrum you could write your own poster. Therefore, the majority of those who are indifferent to adoption stood with the slogans that called for the abolition of the Law of Plotsya: “Children do not want to play your games,” “The system of orphanages is crippling children”, “We, adoptive parents against the cannibal law!” And many others. At the end, these posters, on which slogans were written, the audience promised to send to the Government of the Russian Federation.
