I’m flying to Krasnoyarsk on January 20th, and from there on the 26th to Khabarovsk. Volok shows two versions of the "Minorities" exhibition. I hope they will let me on the plane with such a bag of undisguised truth.
The idea of showing the works of the competition winners ( http://spc.fotodoc.su/ ) and the best projects of other authors together has already been tested in Novosibirsk and Volgograd. In Krasnoyarsk I open the exhibition on January 24 at the Krasnoyarsk Museum Center, in Khabarovsk - on February 1 at the Museum. N.I. Grodekova.
After the opening, I will talk about documentary projects, competitions, the Doc Center. photographs of "FOTODOC" and other fascinating matters. Come chat, we’ll also discuss plans for the future. If anyone is ready to help with hanging and preparation, I will be very grateful, write either in a personal f/b or by email: asorinfoto@gmail.com , your help may be greatly needed.
Also, brothers photographers and journalists, I will have a couple of days in both geographical locations (if the hanging doesn’t eat everything), share some tasty local scenes from life (please do not offer landscapes), for the most promising one, I promise to give you an exhibition catalog and in general I'll just be grateful.
Instead of a postscript. Minorities are a group of people united by some physical or cultural characteristics that distinguish them from others. These characteristics make members of minorities vulnerable. They can cause discrimination in all areas: education, employment, health care, political and other rights. The rights of minorities, their violations, isolation and overcoming it, everyday problems faced by representatives of minorities in Russia are the topics of the competition.
