In Soviet times, fugitives who reached the borders only had to wave their hand to have their escape and political asylum organized. Another thing is that it was mainly high-class figures who went abroad: scientists, artists, singers, engineers. These people, most often useless in the profession to the receiving party, due to their status in their homeland and their fame, could produce the effect of a propaganda bomb: Nureyev, Belenko - a powerful spit on the authorities, which will never return to the spitter.

In the modern world everything is different. Enlightened pedestrians from North Korea live many times worse than Soviet cyclists, but Koreans are kicked out and deported for their sweet souls. Why? They probably don’t have enough reputational capital to create a bombshell effect.

But still, the true reason, seditious and conspiratorial, is seen elsewhere.

Now it is not white emigrants fleeing Russia. Not harmless aristocrats who did not know how to settle in the struggle for life, stuffed with good manners, connections and surviving jewelry. It is not just random soldiers from the second wave of emigration who are running, who found themselves behind the front line and ran away without looking. It is not the Jews who are fleeing; among them, according to basic calculations, there were as many fools, simpletons and ordinary people as among other Soviet citizens.

They fled and were captured. Today Razvozzhaev is fleeing Russia, fleeing from prison and repression, but the refugee commissariat is slowly considering his application and does not even consider it necessary to provide asylum while the issue is resolved. Then Razvozzhaev is kidnapped from the threshold of the shelter, and all the UN Commissioner makes is one statement in the series “we are on guard.”

But Dolmatov is running. And in Holland, by the time he gets there, they already know that mass arrests have been launched in Russia. And Holland refuses. Despite the search, surveillance, and political reputation. Despite working in a secret design bureau, he refuses! This is a spit in our gates: no one needs Russian military secrets for nothing!

Passionarians are fleeing countries of free-thinking authoritarianism. Intolerant of lack of freedom, active, charismatic, enlightened, daring. That is, those whom people follow and whom the authorities are afraid of.

Does Europe need them? Any government, be it the European Union or the Russian village government, wants to see a peaceful, consenting people under it. Any! This vile quality of a person - to crush and rob another person - is strangling people who find themselves in a vast field of legal impunity. There is a law, it is fulfilled, and only it saves. Otherwise, those from above are forced to listen to those from below. And the more passionaries there are in a crowd, the more difficult it is to control it.

European society is being held on the brink of collapse into social unrest. Over the past decades, they have built up so many things there that they don’t need other people’s rebels.

There is no need to delude yourself: if you are not Limonov or Kasparov, you will not be given asylum for political reasons. They gave it to the victims of the humanitarian catastrophe at the beginning of the century, they gave it to captured Soviet soldiers, they gave it to the oppressed Jews. Europeans will not give political asylum: their boat is also rocking.
