Crime boss Aslan Usoyan, known under the nickname Ded Khasan, was buried at the Khovanskoye cemetery in Moscow. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.

Usoyan’s relatives chose this place from among those proposed by the capital’s authorities after Georgia refused to accept the crime boss’s body for burial in his homeland.

Usoyan's grave is located near the fence enclosing the cemetery. A large number of wreaths were laid at her, presumably by representatives of criminal structures from various regions of Russia - on the wreaths were the inscriptions “Dear grandfather Hassan from the Yakut lads”, “Dear grandfather Hasan from the Samara lads” and the like. By 4 p.m., almost all the visitors to Ded Hasan’s funeral had left the Khovanskoye cemetery.

The funeral ceremony was closed to journalists. Employees of the private security company responsible for protecting the cemetery allowed into the territory only those who named the plot number and the name of the person whose grave they wanted to visit.

Earlier, a representative of a local security company asked numerous journalists (film crews from a dozen television companies, as well as radio journalists and representatives of writing media came to the Khovanskoye cemetery) not to try to get to Usoyan’s grave. “First of all, this is a private event of a mourning nature, and the law prohibits any photo or video filming without the permission of the relatives of the deceased. People who come to this person’s funeral, if they are disturbed by strangers, will not then go to complain to the police, but can punish themselves in accordance with the concepts accepted in this environment,” Interfax quotes an employee of the private security company .

On January 18, the coffin with Usoyan’s body was transported to Donetsk, from where it was planned to be transported to Tbilisi, but local authorities refused permission for the funeral and did not accept the charter flight in the Georgian capital on which the coffin was transported. Usoyan's relatives stated that this order was personally given by Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Ded Khasan, considered the most powerful active crime boss in Russia, was shot dead by a sniper in the center of Moscow on January 16, 2013. It is assumed that this murder was contracted and one of Usoyan’s competitors is behind it. In connection with his death, a large-scale redistribution of spheres of influence in the criminal world is expected.
