In Volgograd they are looking for 6-year-old Andrei Zhirnov, who left home the day before.
The child’s father filed a missing person report the day before, reports the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
After receiving a missing person report, the police department was alerted and search teams were formed.
“At night, the territory of the Kirov region was explored. Volunteer organizations were involved in the search,” the message says.
It is known that late at night, as well as in the morning, the child was seen in the area of the Turbinnaya public transport stop.
“The boy asked passers-by for help, but citizens did not report the minor being in a public place unattended to the police,” the department emphasizes.
The boy was wearing a black knitted hat with inscriptions, a dark green jacket with edges, dark blue pants, and inflated boots.
