75th anniversary of Anatoly Marchenko

January 23 marks the 75th anniversary of the birth of Anatoly Marchenko.

"My testimonies" is the first book about the post -Stalin camps and prisons, the first detailed certificate of this shameful inside out of our society. She played a huge role in the moral formation of the human rights movement in the USSR and around the world. The authorities could never forgive Marchenko of his feat. He was sentenced. Twenty years of subsequent torment and death in Chistopol prison - this was the slow -off imposition of this sentence.*
