"Hands off the Lenin monument!"

Today the communists presented the mayor of Belgorod Sergei Bozhenov with an original letter. Regional Duma deputy Nikolai Mukhin and Belgorod Komsomol leader Anastasia Baybikova pasted the corresponding A4 sheet at the entrance to the mayor's office. The message was addressed to Bozhenov: “Sergey Andreevich Bozhenov is awarded for his active work in shaping the revolutionary situation in the Belgorod region, his significant personal contribution to strengthening the spirit of proletarian hatred among Belgorod residents towards the snickering bureaucracy” (spelling and punctuation preserved).

This is how the Communist Party responded to the desire of the mayor of Belgorod to remove the monument to Lenin from Cathedral Square. This story has been going on for several years, and now it is closer than ever to completion.
