Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights Mikhail Anshakov became a suspect in a criminal case of libel against the foundation of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Foundation director Vasily Poddevalin accused Anshakov of slander after he stated in an interview with Novaya Gazeta that the temple actually operates a business center with offices, a car wash, a car service, tire fitting and a parking lot.

The Moscow City Court upheld the sentence of the person involved in the Bolotnaya case Maxim Luzyanin . In November 2012, Luzyanin, who fully admitted his guilt in "mass riots" and violence against police officers, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison.

The activist's comrades fear that Krivov has been forcibly fed - the day before he was visited by a lawyer, to whom he spoke about his intention to continue the hunger strike.
