After a few days ago, researchers once again described the methods of operating Jetdirect vulnerabilities, technologies that ensure the connection of network printers to the local network, Hacker Adam Hovard drew attention to the fact that anyone can connect to such a printer, Kaker.ru reports.
Thousands of connected to the Internet and vulnerable network printers are not at all difficult to find using Google search. The search engine has long been indexed and shows them, you only need to competently draw up a search query.
Having discovered a vulnerable printer, an attacker can intervene in the Print Job Tasks, using the Jetdirect communication protocol and the features of the PCL/PJL interpreter.
You can also arrange a DDOS attack and disable the printer, so it will require a reboot manually. Finally, you can access the contents of other people's documents in the printer memory.
Printers with Jetdirect support are produced by almost all large manufacturers, for example: Canon, Fujitsu, HP, Konica Minolta, LexMark, Xerox, Sharp, Kodak, Brother, Samsung, Toshiba, Ricoh, Kyocore Mita, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier, Lanier Gestetner, Infotek, Oce and OKI.

The Big Brother page presents a live broadcast from 325 cameras. By clicking on any link, you will get access to its control panel, you can turn the camera, scale the picture, etc. Most of the found webcams are in Asia.
