Industrial production in the Kursk region in 2012 increased by 5.3%
The index of industrial production in the Kursk region in 2012 was 105.3%, Kurskstat reports.
Including in the field of mining, industrial production grew by 3.4%, in manufacturing - 10.1%, in the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water - 0.9%.
During the reporting period, the volume of goods shipped in mining decreased by 8.2%, in the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water - by 6.7%. Growth was noted in the manufacturing sector - by 11.8%.
Transport freight turnover in the region amounted to 7.505 billion ton-kilometers (a decrease of 1.1% compared to the previous year). Including freight turnover of railway transport amounted to 6.228 billion ton-kilometers (a decrease of 3.9%), road transport - 1.277 billion ton-kilometers (an increase of 15.2%).
Passenger turnover during the reporting period amounted to 1.111 billion passenger kilometers (an increase of 2.8%).
