There is a law, but there are no donors

Many people say that the topic of donation has become very common. I apologize to such people, BUT. I am a regular donor, I regularly donate platelets, and I think knowledgeable people understand how valuable this material is for emergency operations in children and adults.

First of all, I'm a donor. Secondly, I run one of the most successful public organizations in Russia in the field of promoting the donation of blood and its components. An organization that has achieved the impossible during its 4 years of work in St. Petersburg.

And based on all this, the new law on donation is a slap at me, at our organization, at donors, at doctors, at patients. And until we resolve all the issues, the topic of donation in our environment will be topic No. 1. If you don't like it, sorry.

I will tell everyone a huge secret, but for 4 years my organization received 0 rubles 00 kopecks from the state for its activities and for 4 years of our work everyone in the team of the National Center for Social Assistance (Donors Fund) received a salary in the amount of 0 rubles 00 kopecks . We all have places to earn money in other areas of life, and we invest everything that people donate into work, into the gigantic work of attracting and retaining donors at blood transfusion centers. Most have families, several jobs, projects and everything, BUT. For 4 years we did not ask for help from the state, we found everything ourselves, we decided everything ourselves, we created everything ourselves. Themselves, in alliance with doctors at transfusion stations, with doctors at hospitals and clinics, with relatives of patients, with donors.

We didn’t have any global problems; we coped with temporary inconveniences. No printing? We found a sponsor and published it. There are no vehicles to deliver goods to children in the hospital? They called out and assembled a column. No inventory for donor shares? We called our partners and bought everything. No commercials? They asked young directors and filmed everything. And so on and so forth for 4 years. So WHY does the state, which did not call us for help, INSERT a spoke in our wheels?! We came to donate blood voluntarily in 2008. On their own. And away we go. I visited dozens of hospitals, dozens of transfusion centers. I see for whom and what we are working for. And now we must raise the media, stir up the deputies in order to clear up what the deputies of the very organization that Posner called Fool, and then signed by the man who was recently named the most influential politician in the world, decided with one stroke of the pen...

And I am surprised even by our deputies who tell US, where were you before?! We?! We worked. We did what we did honestly.
