The 31st city hospital will not be re-profiled for medical care for judges of the Supreme and Arbitration Courts of the Russian Federation, the St. Petersburg governor Georgy Poltavchenko said on January 24. The decision is clearly forced. The petition in support of the hospital collected more than 100 thousand signatures that were transferred to the presidential administration. The initiator of the campaign, a 17-year-old student of Moscow State University, told The NEW Times, how and for what they fought

All journalists asked only one thing: “Why did you do this? You are 17 years old, a student, you have nothing to do with this hospital, besides from Moscow, and not from St. Petersburg ... ”I answered as it is: the story with the 31st hospital was very touched, because I have concepts about good and evil, and this situation does not fit into my picture of the world. What else to explain? Everyone could do it.
January 21–22, Moscow
In one day alone, our petition collected more than 50 thousand signatures. Then we, together with the CHANGE.org coordinator Dmitry Savelov, understood: everything, we must quickly carry signatures to the presidential administration in Moscow and the St. Petersburg authorities - to Smolny. They sent a press release to news agencies-they say, we are going to convey the petition. And then a flurry of calls went. Mobiles came to me about publications in many newspapers, about actors, musicians, academicians who signed the petition ... I went to print sheets with signatures to work for my father - they spent six hours on it. Then, with an insolent face and yellow box, he came to the reception of AP. Gentlemen already knew that I would come, twitched as soon as I went to the door outside. Two to meet: the main one for receiving appeals is a woman in the most open dress and the guard Rafael, bewitching with her hostility to me. The main thing with skepticism notes that a lot of time will take the signing of signatures. Some people are even more important and, scratching the bald heads, spin around the pack. I call them the exact number of sheets. Fortunately, the Change.org site “Toters” is well familiar. The pile of my sheets is accepted. The guard Rafael picks her in her hands and, having muttered something about the insolvency of the signatures, pnuno seeds after the woman in the neckline.

January 22–23. Train Moscow - Petersburg
The issue with signatures in Moscow is closed. I take tickets to St. Petersburg. I’m going there with rather blurry ideas about what exactly I am struggling. Of course, I read everything that could be about the 31st hospital. He knew about her unique oncological department - both children's and adults. But I didn’t see her in the eye, and this was necessary to do this.
The train started. The wagons are brand new, but on the upper reserve shelf is terribly stuffy. The head of the train by the voice of the Soviet Dictor, announcing the beginning of charging, reads on local radio notes from Komsomolskaya Pravda. For example, about how Alevtina Pavlovna won one million and three hundred and forty -six thousand rubles. And at the end of the story, he explains: every ten rubles from each ticket sold, the Russian Railways lottery go to the aid of “our sick children”. That is how, “our sick children” - without clarification.
January 23. Petersburg
Krestovsky Island is a place that is noteworthy, in addition to its park of extreme attractions, fashionable real estate: in Moscow, perhaps, there is no such area - all are completely fresh -built luxury quarters. They say that here is the unofficial residence of Putin. The only thing that does not fit into this urban landscape is the hospital building of the 70s of the construction. Here it is-31st.
A quiet courtyard, calm visitors, cleaned paths-all this somehow calms, even lulls.
Grandmothers, wardrobe, shoe covers, coins, security, deester reception. A co -secretary with an embarrassed smile asks for forgiveness: "Anatoly Yuryevich spends money on the departments, and not on the repair of the reception ..."
Anatoly Yuryevich Vyvkin is the head doctor of the hospital. A tall professor with a thin and soft smile, with a book -fabulous look through round glasses, meets us incredibly warm. A large office with a long table for negotiations. Speaks only about the hospital. Not a word about the scandal. Now I clearly realize: I came here to talk with this person, just talk ...
The first thing we saw with him when we left the reception is a group of bikers at the entrance. “These are motodonores. Yes, they, in addition to passing a huge amount of blood, roll children and parents, arrange real shows in front of the windows of the children who cannot get out - the head physician runs out in one robe to the street. - Alyo! People, thank you here! " Anatoly Yuryevich presses everyone hands - smiles, laughter, hugs, gratitude and a strange mixture of glasses and robes, leather jackets and scarves.
I saw a children's oncgetology. The corridor is sheathed with green herbal murals with God's cows. The head physician talks about how he chose the wallpaper for this chamber, how at the factory they made colorful tiles for offices for chemotherapy.
Bald whitish heads. Father Bogdan comes out of the hospital temple after confession - and he, too, with good eyes. The heads of the departments run, doctors, say terrible medical words on the phone, smiling along the way to every child. We go to a glazed huge veranda - a children's room. Around the snow, the river and the residence of the presidential managers - 50 meters from the window.

At the entrance to the hospital temple
Extremely simple. Everything is extremely simple. Everyone jokes and smiles. Children, of course, are nervous and a little scared - those who are younger; Who is older - they are already used to cameras and reporters, in protective robes running with apologizing smiles.
We cross the warm corridors from the department to the department, Anatoly Yuryevich greets patients, enters the wards and asks how to do it. It represents to us a friendly head of the cardio department. She looks no more than thirty - and he is clearly proud of her youth.
In the intensive care unit - huge beds with a bunch of sensors, all screens are connected to the head monitor from the manager. The operating rooms resemble the scenery of some popular science film: behind an automatic sliding door through a small window, you can see the walls hung with monitors that measure everything from the level of hemoglobin to the blood to the air humidity in the operating room.
On the way to the nephrological department, Anatoly Yuryevich mentions his specialization: “I am, in a specialty, a nephrologist. Well, a surgeon. " - "Are you practicing now?" - “Rarely, but I love. I go out into the operating room and know ... I feel there freerly, or something. And easier. You can’t depend on anyone there. This is only my place. ”
We stinged hands for a long time, smiled and looked into the eyes. When we talked with Anatoly Yuryevich, when he could not stop, talking about the achievements of the hospital, to which he gives all his strength and all his thoughts, I realized: he is really from his forehead to the heel, all belongs to this place.
Now it has become personal for me, now I also belong to this place, and from this I can’t tear myself away, now our petition is not a “document of truth”, but the very story that you want to fight and tear everyone.

January 23. Smolny
We run to the reception of the city administration. Finding it is a separate undertaking, it is located in some one-story buildings on the territory of the Smolny Monastery. Security guard, frame, window. Here the secretary finds fault that there are only “living” signatures in this world. I begin to put pressure on the appeal law with a cursory knowledge of the law, the secretary gives up, takes the signatures and gives some kind of piece of paper.
In the puffy on the stable, we drink tea with a local human rights activist Maria, with whom two different appeals were taken together, and we discuss the latest events. The decision to disband the hospital seemed to be canceled, we won, happiness, villains are overthrown, the press secretaries of all the impressed officials mumble releases, the “Almighty”, they say, even shouted ... Calling “Rain”, ask to get to the bottom of the gentlemen who make these official statements. A bunch of versions related to the confrontation of Matvienko and Poltavchenko and their well -known vapor -forming patrons immediately come out; With the fact that the former employee of the 31st, who was infringed there, now works almost in the Supreme Court and deftly decided to take revenge.
We realize with longing that we did not win at all and everyone was again smarter than us. After such stunning news, half the people come to the rally on the Marse Field. Glory to God, who came to the statements, do not believe in the statements of the authorities. True, there is no confirmation that the hospital will not reform, there are no documents, all these are words and nothing more.
Cold. There are few people. The 5th channel frantically takes the necessary interviews, the Socialist-Revolutionaries are.

For Anatoly Vyvkina, 31st hospital is the main thing of life
January 23-24. Train Petersburg - Moscow
Having swallowed frosty air, I run into the train. The same upper stuffy shelf. I decide to spend the night in the vestibule standing - at least cool.
They won nothing. They moved from perspective - good. But who needs it: maybe we, maybe for me for moral self -awareness, but - for what they fought?
For those eyes peering out at me from under the pink cap in the temple, for those grateful mothers crowding in the corridor, for the elderly on hemodialysis, who strain all the remaining forces to wave their hand, for the same tile, which was laid down exactly, in no other way-at the personal choice of Anatoly Yuryevich-in the reception room. In order for 10 thousand people attached to the 31st, there are also a medical examination on devices that exist in Russia only in two capitals one copy, completely free. For the fact that people there are just as smiled.
Something is still really unique in this hospital in addition to well-equipped operating rooms. They do not live here, taking the latest medicines, they live here, want to live and collect the last forces to resist diseases. How simple in words and how difficult it is in reality - there.
And this, this is the most important thing.
The train travels to Moscow. The hospital is further. The villages are rushing in the windows, the men are snoring, the queues in the toilets, the blizzard in the vestibule, the police and the drives run, the grandmas cover the beds, hiss the opening bottles, the glasses are called, the trains are not knocking - we have monorails, clap doors, light conversations and drunken laughs, and in the middle of the Babylonian loudly sounds loudly and clearly loudly and clearly All the same voice of the Afanasy Nikitin train chief of the train: “From each sold lottery ticket, 10 rubles come to the rescue of our sick children.”
