A teenager died while performing an element of parkour in the entrance of a house in Yaroslavl

Investigative authorities are conducting an investigation into the discovery of the body of a 16-year-old schoolboy with multiple injuries on the landing in a residential building in Yaroslavl.

It was previously established that the victim was fond of parkour, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the region reported on Tuesday.

“He decided to show his friend one of the elements. The young people climbed to the fifth floor of the house where the deceased lived. The young man, while on the railing, tried to do a handstand, lost his balance and fell into the flight of stairs,” the report says.

The department notes that the teenager suffered an open head injury and a spinal fracture from the blow. He died from his injuries at the scene.
