Horses don't have science

The other day it was Science Day. I didn't even notice.

And, perhaps, I would not have remembered at all if I had not heard yesterday’s whispering in the corners that the management had all left for ceremonial events.

Well, great scientists have a great voyage, awards and honor, all that.

And we, the gray horses, sat down yesterday and began to remember when Science Day touched us there for the last time, when we were brought into the light of God and shown as scientists, the future growth of science. I did it 9 years ago, others not so long ago - 2007, 2008. But after 2008, everyone seemed to be cut off, the holiday passed us by.

However, like science. So, we only sporadically edit out articles for the rating; it’s impossible to delve in depth.

Here, in recent years, universities have been criticized, saying that there is no science there - it’s a mockery. There is no point in hiding - none.

But to be honest, where does it come from in large quantities there?

Science requires money. Who could have imagined that the mandatory requirement to publish the results of scientific research would mean the obligation to pay for such publication in most cases.

Again, these same scientific ones carry people to conferences for free. Also for money. The university’s budget is not rubber, it won’t accommodate all the hunters, only “our own”, “needed”, and those to whom it is absolutely impossible to give.

But ordinary horses, those that Livanov called non-professionals, have no money.

It's not about the money though.

When to do science here? We need to work and lead couples. And according to new trends from the Ministry of Education, it’s not so that the idiots get up and go and give a lecture, but interactively, getting students interested, popularizing scientific achievements using technical means of visualization. Nowadays they demand so much, either with a video or with a presentation. And with chalk and a blackboard - this is no longer teaching, it’s irrelevant.

No, you can't leave. Who will teach classes while you are there chilling out at conferences? Who should replace it?

Again, paperwork, paperwork must be filled out. Report, certification, brief information about yourself, resume for one office, certificate for another, list of pseudoscientific publications.

Here you don’t know what to grab onto, is it even science? Science begins only with those who are hourly, this so-called teaching load, which has increased by at least a quarter over the past few years, will be thrown away. And the papers go down to the subordinates, to the secretarial staff.

How can a simple teaching horse get rid of it?

They pay him money from his watch. More hours - more money - more opportunities to advance economically in science. But there are also fewer real conditions, less time. What is science when you go home without your hind legs and head?

However, this is fair, horses don’t have science. A horse is for plowing, for various household needs, and not for scientific research. In science, it is only suitable for experiments.

This is the leadership of our education, and all sorts of bosses are engaged in these experiments, and therefore they celebrate Science Day with full right.
