Ilya Gushchin, a new detainee in the "swamp business"
It was a 24-year-old nationalist Ilya Gushchin. On February 6, he was charged with an attack on a police officer (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and participation in Massion riots (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and on February 7, the Moscow Basmanny Court arrested him for two months - until April 6. The new “swamp” seal admitted that he really grabbed the riot police by the vest and for the helmet, trying to prevent him from hitting the demonstrator lying on the ground. Applying about the arrest, the investigator Kurdyukov told the court that the Gushchin is a member of the National Democratic Party, "which, in principle, has an attitude towards the current government not entirely loyal." The investigator also expressed concern that if Gushchin did not put under arrest, he would "continue to go to rallies." Therefore, now he will walk around the cell and lie on the bunks.
