Having realized that the borders have celebrated the five-year period , I have experienced a shock from the awareness of the oddity of the course of our time. On the one hand, it seems that it was the other day. On the other hand, during this time everything around and inside me has changed dramatically.

Now you can tell how it all began. Before the “boundaries” (where I already worked as a photographer and a billboy) invited me to keep a video project, I made my first video. It was a slide show from the photographs of the dispersal of one of the last "Marshs of the Disagent" in Moscow, laid for the song of Veni Drinkin. Rather, these were personnel resistance to the system. When dealing with swamp business today, I see a special symbol in this. I kept the video camera before my life. Therefore, I invited my friend to the assistants: he touched the camera twice.

For design (this was supposed to be separate from the "faces" in the form of a blog) used a standard template purchased for $ 20. We purchased a small Panasonis video camera on the Mini DV cassettes and an external microphone. I had my own tripod. And Ruslan and I went to shoot. I opened the editor only after I leaked the first shooting into the computer.

We did not understand anything in the video. Except for two things: that this is our tomorrow; And that in no case should you be like television. The laws of all genres of the Internet video began to take shape later. And I am flattering myself with suspicion that Grani-TV contributed to their birth. Then there was only YouTube, which recently appeared, but managed to make a coup in technology and minds. "We will make a professional amateur!" - we proclaimed. It was not cynicism. It just became clear that you can only reach the hearts of the most insinruption and straight shots. That the matter is not in the form, but in the content. Our essence was not standards, interruptions and screensavers, but people who interested us.

Initially, the task of the project was concrete and final: a large block of interviews to the upcoming presidential election (almost said "to Medvedev’s elections"). We asked many people respected people about the results of the first eight of the century, about what our society represents today and what they expect from the elections. Our motive was simple and expressed by Norshtein (his video was then the most popular): "I have not heard such silence before the elections for a long time." It’s just that all these people were already isolated from the television screen.

Bitov and Shevchuk , Sedakov and Kozakov , Schmidt , Prilepin , Gandlevsky and many others - we collected a good "collection".

We began to look, all sorts of events took place around, and there was already a video camera in their hands. I had to learn to remove the report. The Sokolnichesky case unfolded about the brutal beating by the policemen of several young informals and their criminal prosecution (for the "attack on police officers", of course). I managed to remove the sensational unauthorized procession of the anarchists "against the cop lawlessness" in Tverskaya. In television, it was called "a walk of drunken fans." But the Internet has already declared its rights to the truth.

This was one of many so -called "secret actions" that came into fashion. Attempts to collect large processions were suppressed by the police, and less and less people came to them. Groups of activists, outwitting OMON, gathered secretly and, blocking some kind of avenue, ran a couple of kilometers until they were caught up with police buses.
