A millionaire who killed a cardiac surgeon was arrested in Nizhny Novgorod

The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court concluded a millionaire Pavel Brovkin in the pre -trial detention center, who is accused of the murder of the famous cardiac surgeon Oleg Spiridonov. According to ITAR-TASS, the 24-year-old businessman Brovkin was taken into custody in the courtroom. So far, the term of his stay in the pre -trial detention center is limited on April 3. Thus, the court satisfied the demand of the prosecutor's office, changing the preventive measure from house arrest to detention.

On February 3, 51-year-old Spiridonov and his wife arrived in his car in the Khabarskoye ski complex in the Bogorodsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Entrance to the parking lot was blocked by a car of Brovka, who at that time communicated on the street with girls. The millionaire did not respond to sound signals. When the doctor, having traveled a foreign car, began to park, Brovkin opened the door of his car, saying: "Are you in a hurry? Are you tired of living?!" Spiridonov tried to get up from the driver's seat, but Brovkin pushed him back. A quarrel ensued. A few minutes later, the millionaire took in his car a traumatic pistol "Groza-21" and twice shot Spiridonov in the head in front of his wife.

At the exit from the parking lot, Brovkin was detained by police. It turned out that it is under the influence of cocaine.

Spiridonov in extremely serious condition was taken to the intensive care of the Semashko regional hospital, where he died on February 7.

A matter was opened against Brovkin. On February 5, the Bogorodsky district court concluded a millionaire under house arrest. Such a decree caused indignation of the public. The prosecutor's office protested the decision in a higher instance. As explained in the press service of the regional court, "the grounds for the abolition of a previously chosen preventive measure indicate the possibility of providing pressure to the suspects and witnesses, the presence of a foreign passport has it."

The course of the investigation of the case is taken by the leadership of the Investigative Committee of Special Control. “Such impudent and egregious facts, when people die for no reason during the day, should not remain unpunished,” said the official representative of the department Vladimir Markin.

Brovkin is the co -founder of the company Oil -Optima 7, which owned the Network of gas stations, and also delivered fuel to the Lukoil gas stations. In the spring of 2012, he sold his gas station Gazpromneft, which caused discontent of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. There is evidence that the father of the accused also has a large weight in business structures.
