The World Court of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Novosibirsk closed another case against the Novosibirsk artist Artem Loskutov. Loskutov himself reports this on his blog. The justice of the peace Yevgeny Lisova decided that in the actions of the artist who distributed a T -shirt in support of Pussy Riot, there is no composition of the offense provided for in paragraph 2 of Article 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (insulting the religious feelings of citizens).
On February 6, Judge Lisova on the same reasons terminated the case of illegal entrepreneurship (part 1 of Article 14.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On February 1, the justice of the peace Elena Yurina found Loskutova guilty of insulting religious feelings and appointed him a fine of 1000 rubles. These accusations were also brought by the artist in connection with the sale of T -shirts.
"The operatives of the economic security and anti-corruption department at the NSO Central Internal Affairs Directorate on September 26, 2012" controlled "two T-shirts of the SVBD PSRT", after which 4 administrative cases were instituted: about illegal entrepreneurship (terminated due to lack of composition), on trade in unidentified places (a warning was issued, and two identical examination) and two identical places) and two identical places) and two identical places) and two identical places) About the insult of religious feelings: one was a fine of 1000 rubles (appealed) by one, the other was discontinued today due to the lack of composition, ”Loskutov writes.
Earlier, the artist said that he uses the experience of the Russian Orthodox Church, which, according to him, "does not engage in unlicensed trade, but gives church utensils at the recommended price in exchange for donations." "These T -shirts in support of Pussy Riot are just my gift in exchange for people making donations," Loskutov noted. The money he collected is to support the prisoners of the group.
On October 22, Loskutova was called to the prosecutor's office on the complaint of the Narodnaya Cathedral movement to T -shirts of the SVBD PSRT. He refused to give explanations. The authors of the complaint demanded that Loskutov bring not only to administrative responsibility, but also to criminal under Article 282 of the Criminal Code (arousal of hatred or enmity). “At the same time, some offended“ Orthodox ”refer to cases of aggression, manifested by other offended“ Orthodox ”, as touching,” wrote Loskutov on Twitter.
In June 2012, Loskutov was already fined for 500 rubles for insulting the feelings of believers. Thus, the court regarded the placement on the streets of the city of posters in defense of the Pussy Riot punk group, stylized for icons. In March, posters appeared on advertising racks in some areas of Novosibirsk, photos of which the artist posted on his website. They “depicted a woman’s figure in a red cloak and a violet balaclava, her hands were raised up, and a baby was depicted on her chest, and on the sides the inscription:“ SVBD PSRT ”(Freedom Pussy Ryot),” Loskutov described them. The next day, the posters were dismantled.
In November, Loskutov applied to the ECHR with a complaint about the decisions made.
