The incidence of ARVI in Mari El increased by 17% over the past week, exceeding the epidemic threshold by 31.4%, the Rospotrebnadzor department for the republic reported on Monday.
Exceeding the threshold incidence level is observed in all age groups.
According to Rospotrebnadzor, the educational process has been completely suspended in three kindergartens in the Gornomariysky and Orsha districts, as well as in three schools in the republic - in the Morkinsky, Mari-Tureksky districts and the village of Orshanka.
In addition, classes have been canceled in 48 classes in 22 schools in Yoshkar-Ola, Volzhsk, Kozmodemyansk and ten other districts of Mari El, as well as in 20 groups in 12 kindergartens in nine districts of the republic.
