The judge of the Naro-Fominsky City Court in the Moscow region Stepan Shimorin sentenced the defender of the North Forest Tatyana Pavlova to a fine of 50 thousand rubles. As reported on the website of the movement "Ecological Defense of the Moscow Region", it was found guilty under Article 20.18 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (blocking transport communications). The representative of the OVD-Info website noticed the faces that before the cases of attracting activists under this article were not recorded by the project team. The court was held at the suit of the Trust Montazh Trust, which was entrusted with the development of the territory occupied by the forest.
On January 30, Pavlova was detained in Selyatin while trying to block illegal work in the forest and delivered to the village of the police. After the preparation of administrative materials, Pavlov was kept in the department by order of the deputy chief of the district police. The activist became ill, she was called an ambulance. Later, Pavlov was taken to the court in Naro-Fominsk, from where she was released after filed a petition for the transfer of the consideration of the case due to the lack of a defender.
Only two meetings have passed - February 5 and 12. Pavlova and her lawyers announced a discharge to the judge, who, as it turned out, personally familiar with the representatives of the "hydrogenmarks" and thus may be interested in the outcome of the case. However, Shimorin refused to take the challenge.
Representatives of the plaintiff said that Pavlova blocked the Hospital Street of Selyatin to interfere with the passage of equipment. In response, the activist presented the court a video indicating that she did not block the road, but stood aside - the road was blocked by the road tractor. The tractor driver, attracted by the plaintiff as a witness, actually confirmed the case of Pavlova. Nevertheless, Shimorin issued an indictment.
Pavlova intends to appeal the court order. In addition, she submitted an application to the Police for “Milk Montazh”, whose tractor actually blocked the street.
Earlier it was reported that the police threatened the activist with a criminal case for "extremism".
In early January, an activist of Eco -Defense Alexander Tolstov was beaten by unknown in Moscow, also struggling against the deforestation of the northwest forest. Unknown people pushed Tolstov into a car in the metro area of Preobrazhenskaya Square, beaten and thrown out of the car in the Medvedkovo area. At the same time, the activist stolen valuable things and money. A criminal case has been instituted on this fact.
The police considers the robbery the main version, but does not exclude that the cause of the attack was Tolstov’s activity to protect the forest in Selyatin. In support of this version, the fact is that this is not the only attack on activists. A little earlier in the village there was an attack on collectors of signatures in the entrance of one of the houses. A man of strong physique tried to tear out signature sheets from activists. The signatures managed to defend.
The city administration sold forest park areas for cutting and building residential buildings. In particular, this fate awaits three parks inside the village and 73 hectares of the adjacent forest. At a public hearing on the project of the General Plan of Selyatin, the opinion of 14 percent of the inhabitants of the village was ignored. Such actions caused the protests of local residents.
At the end of December 2012, the acting The Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov instructed to figure out the situation with the Selyatinsky forest. He noted that if residents of the district protest against the construction of multi -storey buildings, then it is necessary to listen to this. Nevertheless, the municipal and district authorities follow the path of confrontation and escalation of the conflict. The head of the nitrine Evgeny Golubev at the pro -government rally called the protesters "invaders" and "American landing." The head of the Naro-Fominsky district, Alexander Baranov, threatened the local television channel participating in the protest to the employees of the Selyatinsky hospital that if new houses are not built, will follow reductions.
