Left Front activist Konstantin Lebedev, one of the accused in the case of preparing to organize mass unrest along with Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozzhaev, will be transferred from custody in Lefortovo to house arrest. Interfax reported this with reference to the official representative of the Investigative Committee, Vladimir Markin. Markin said that, in the opinion of the investigation, house arrest is a sufficient preventive measure adequate to what Lebedev did. I wonder why the investigation thought otherwise before this. Lebedev has been in custody since October last year. Previously, Udaltsov was placed under house arrest.

As for Razvozzhaev, he is still in the Irkutsk pre-trial detention center, where he was transferred in connection with the case of an alleged robbery in Angarsk in 1997, when Razvozzhaev allegedly took a batch of fur hats from a local businessman. The case had already been closed, but they tried to detain Razvozzhaev in Irkutsk under the pretext of the need for a medical examination. Lawyers reported that the oppositionist was diagnosed with hepatitis C, but representatives of the Federal Penitentiary Service deny this. At the same time, lawyers report that in Irkutsk Razvozzhaev is under strong pressure, his cellmates tell him that he must confess, and on February 12 he was attacked in a pre-trial detention center. In addition, local lawyer Razvozzhaev Vyacheslav Ivanets has already been detained twice for allegedly trying to give something to his client - the first time a mobile phone, the second time materials of some prohibited correspondence. Later, lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky said that the investigation was ready to release Razvozzhaev to Moscow. Several cases have been opened against Razvozzhaev: in addition to preparations for organizing mass riots and not counting the Angarsk hats, this is an alleged illegal crossing of the Russian border with Ukraine (Razvozzhaev was taken from Kiev to Moscow under strange circumstances, he himself claims that he was kidnapped and tortured, but no one opened a case on this matter) and a deliberately false denunciation - at one of the court hearings, the oppositionist pointed to a man in the hall and stated that he had participated in torture (later Razvozzhaev’s wife Yulia and comrade on the Left Front Alexey Sakhnin reported that this man there was investigator Dmitry Pleshivtsev).
