The trial on parole took place back in December, on January 8, Igor Maydanyuk was released. The youngest member of the gang was released after serving just over a third of his sentence. In the colony, the former tsapok was the captain of a sports team, and received the profession of a plasterer-painter. The colony gave him the most positive characteristics, the Belorechensky district court fixed the correction.
Maydanyuk was arrested in November 2010, one of the first - a few days after the murder of 12 people in the Ametovs' house, which ended 20 years of Tsapok rule. Then he was 16, he studied "in the bursa" - PU-55, the forge of gang personnel. Maidaniuk himself was a classic example of the young generation of Tsapkov's sixes. A social orphan, her mother was deprived of parental rights (she died two days after the murder in the Ametovs' house). Igor was brought up by his grandmother, after her death - by his grandfather.
Students of the "Bursa" talk about the "warm attitude" of the tsapki to the "orphans". Teenagers received protection and material assistance from the bandits, went to train in the family gym of the hoes - and soon naturally joined the gang.
Maydanyuk's career began with the position of "supervisor" of his native 4th school. Igor, along with many of his peers, was a member of the "growth" - the youth wing of the gang, headed by Evgeny Gurov. At the time of the arrest of the tsapki, the “growth” included about a hundred people, many of them underage.
The investigation quickly established that Maydanyuk was not in the Ametovs' house. Soon the UK officially removed him, like many others, from the gang. However, he continued to be under arrest pending trial. Maydanyuk was charged with drug possession, car theft, beatings and intentional infliction of minor bodily harm. On July 20, 2011, the Kushchevsky District Court sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months in prison.
Maydanyuk met his 18th birthday in the colony. After his release, he returned to Kushchevskaya. Lives with relatives, already got a job. Villagers say that Igor “lives quietly”, they note his “difficult mental state”. For the last two weeks, according to the locals, Maydaniuk began to appear "in taverns" and "raked already from those whom he had offended before."
The trial in the main case of the Tsapok gang continues in the Krasnodar Regional Court. On the dock are gang leader Sergei Tsapok, founder of the organized criminal group Nikolai Tsapok (Uncle Kolya), Vladimir Alekseev, Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, Igor Chernykh, Vladimir Zaporozhets. They are charged with a number of crimes, including 19 murders. So far, the jury has managed to study only the first murder - a resident of the village of Krylovskaya Alexander Ivanov, committed in 1998.
The same court is considering the case of the “Palkin gang” (its investigators were also “separated” from the gang of hoes). In addition to Vadim Palkin, the son of the head of the administration of the Kushchevsky district, Dmitry Devterov, Alexander Shal, Alexander Mamaev, Igor Pogosyan are involved in the case. They are accused, among other things, of two murders, two attempted murders, illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition.
Also, now the Kushchevsky District Court is preparing to start considering the case of the Gurov gang, the youth wing of the Tsapok. The defendants are Aleksey and Evgeny Gurovs (“Beavers”), Vyacheslav Skachedub, Aleksey and Sergey Steblevsky, Dmitry Lobanov, Igor Bessonov, Evgeny Nikitenko, Artak Sargsyan. The indictment contains more than 30 grave and especially grave crimes, including causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death, four rapes (including minors), five thefts, extortion, acquisition and possession of drugs.
Igor Maydaniuk is not prosecuted in any of these cases, he is clean before the law.
