Deputy Taskaev's assistant became a victim of a burglar. The attacker was found following the tracks of a stolen snowmobile

The cottage of the assistant to the State Duma deputy Vladimir Taskaev, 54-year-old Igor Isakov, located in the village of Pritykino, Talitsky district (30 kilometers from Talitsa, on the border with the Baikalovsky district) was robbed the day before. According to the press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region, Valery Gorelykh, the police received a report of the theft at 14.15.

An investigative team led by the head of the criminal investigation department of the Talitsa police department, Sergei Teterin, immediately left for the scene. Investigators established that the attacker opened a metal safe in the house with a grinder and stole from it a 7.62 mm Vepr hunting carbine and a twelve-gauge IZH-43 hunting rifle. Having simultaneously taken the alcohol stored in the house, he disappeared on a Buran snowmobile that belonged to Isakov.

In fact, following the tracks of the snowmobile, the criminal was found a few hours later. He turned out to be a 32-year-old native of the village of Shogrinskoye, Artemovsky district, Sverdlovsk region, previously convicted of theft. As he explained to the police who detained him, he came to Pritykino by train to get a job, but “was led astray by the devil.”

At the moment, a criminal case has been opened regarding this fact under Part 1 of Article 226 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft of Firearms” and Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The suspect is detained, the issue of preventive measures is being decided.

Let us note that in early January, Deputy Taskaev himself found himself at the epicenter of a criminal story. On the evening of January 2, in a field about 68 kilometers of the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway, inspectors of the Bogdanovichsky state reserve stopped a Toyota Hilux pickup truck in which a deputy, his 25-year-old son and an acquaintance were traveling. In the car, according to preliminary information, the carcasses of two roe deer, two unsheathed guns, and a snowmobile were found in the back. According to the rangers’ stories, the people’s choice inside the car confused them with his “crusts.” True, having come to their senses, the rangers nevertheless turned to the traffic police, whose officers detained the car. Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”.

Taskaev himself, in an interview with Znak.com, denied participation in illegal hunting, saying that he went to the territory of the reserve to pick up a snowmobile.
