Roizman will run for mayor of Yekaterinburg

The head of the City Without Drugs Foundation, Evgeny Roizman, will be nominated as a candidate for mayor of Yekaterinburg or for the leadership of the City Duma from Mikhail Prokhorov's Civic Platform party. The magazine "Profile" writes about this, citing the words of Stanislav Kucher, a member of the federal civil committee of the party. The full material on Roizman’s nomination will be published on Monday, February 18.

Elections in the region will take place in September, but the final decision on the specific position for which Roizman will be nominated will be made in the party this spring. According to Kucher, Roizman’s rating is the highest among regional politicians in the region, and the party is ready to support him in elections at any level. The issue of the amount of funding for Roizman’s election campaign in the Civic Platform has not yet been resolved, but Kucher has no doubt that Roizman will win the elections in any case.
