
The company "RusHydro" revealed thefts of 1 billion rubles during the construction of the Zagorskaya hydroxide power station No. 2, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports . Since 2009, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been checking the activities of the state -owned company for the targeted spending of repair funds and investment resources of the company.
"It was established that during the construction of facilities of the hydro -accumulator of the power station, the general contractor of Hydostroy OJSC for the construction work concluded fictitious subcontracting agreements with controlled organizations, after which the funds received at their settlement accounts were cashed out and stolen. The preliminary amount of damage about 1 billion rubles," the report said.
The press service notes that investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have repeatedly turned to RusHydro in order to get the necessary financial and economic documents. At the same time, the company's management was proposed to act as the victim. “However, there was no answer, and the required documentation was not submitted,” the report emphasizes.
"At present, further measures are being taken aimed at identifying, suppressing and documenting economic crimes in this area," the press service said.
On February 13, President Putin instructed the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev to understand the situation with theft of money at RusHydro, RIA Novosti reported. At a meeting of the commission on the development of FEC and environmental safety, which was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs and the chairman of the RusHydro board, Evgeny Dod, the head of state noted that 12 billion rubles were allocated for the construction of the GAES -2, "of which 6 billion were a hydraulic construction as a general contractor."
