From today, the owners of plastic cards issued by Russian banks can transfer the necessary amounts from the card account to their wallet in the largest service of electronic payments in the Yandex.Money Runet, the Yandex press service reports.
To replenish Yandex-Kosel, it is now not necessary to attach a card to it, look for an ATM or set up an Internet banking to it. Now you can simply go to your account and instantly replenish the account by entering on the Yandex.Money on the site of the card and the code sent by the bank in the SMS message.
The commission for replenishing the “wallet” in a similar way is fixed and amounts to 49 rubles.
“A critical mass of users who are ready for electronic payments has already gained on the Internet. For such users, replenishment of an account from a bank card is the easiest and most convenient way. And now they have it, ”says the general director of the company Evgeny Zavalishin.
According to him, people are increasingly using Internet payments to transfer money to each other. So over the past year, the volume of translations from the wallet to the wallet in the Yandex service increased 1.5 times. The share of replenishment by a non -cash method has grown noticeably.
According to Zavvalishina, one of the main reasons for this is the great increase in the popularity of crowdfunding, when people are taking off something together.
Since 2008, Yandex has been actively developing services to convert electronic money into other means of cashless payments and vice versa. Currently, users can transfer Yandex.Money to bank accounts around the world except the United States. Since 2012, each user can release a plastic card to his account for free to pay Yandex.Money not only on the Internet, but also in ordinary stores.
