“In the course of practical actions of the troops of the Central Military District, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is assessing the level of preparedness of the command staff of the district for command and control against the backdrop of a constantly changing operational-tactical situation,” says a message from the press service and information department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which was received by Interfax. on Tuesday.
It is noted that “about seven thousand military personnel, several hundred units of military equipment and about forty aircraft for various purposes are taking part in practical actions.”
